The institution premises is located in Kalna Block in (East) Bardhaman,

the 24th Jain Tirthankara, is believed to have visited the place.
SJDV is regarded as one of the top schools in the region, providing an all-round learning experience to its students that builds personality holistically and prepares them for the finest opportunities of the future.
The school’s main goal is to maximise the potential of each pupil by exposing them to a wide and immersive gamut of classroom and real-world experiences, under the watchful guidance of mentors. The qualified and experienced faculty and non-teaching staff of the school cares deeply for its students, and goes out of its way to understand their needs, tap into their strengths and celebrate their aspirations - making for a learning curve that is joyous, personalized and powerful.
Swami Janaki Das Vidyapith was set up in 2010, and is the brainchild of Sri Sri 108 Swami Prajna Das Kathia Baba who wanted to democratise the transformative power of high quality, english medium education by making it accessible for the remote, rural and disadvantaged sections of society.
Today – with committed mentors, an enthusiastic student and parent community and grand plans for the future – Swamiji’s cherished dream is being realized one milestone at a time, as the Vidyapith continues to play a quiet, but exemplary, role in the making of a New India. One that unites every stratum of society towards a common destiny, and a brighter future.
